If you're looking for a green smoothie that doesn't necessarily have that veggie taste (that you'd expect from a green juice), we've got the recipe for you: this green elixir smoothie has great antioxidant properties, will energize and give you the nutrients you need:

  • A handful of lettuce of any kind
  • 100 g red or green grapes
  • 1 banana
  • 1 pear
  • 2 tablespoons ground walnuts (or almonds)
  • 200 ml of water or vegetable milk
